London’s South Bank skatepark has been a Mecca for skateboarders for over 40 years but was in danger of being destroyed by developers.
To gather support and publicise the issue, posters and postcards were produced that combined original 1970s South Bank skating photography with present day images of skaters riding the same area. These were sold to generate funds to fight the development.
Our hard work paid off and the development was halted. South Bank skatepark is now listed as being of special historical interest.
